Penalties for Non-Compliance

Part A
Employers who fail to offer a Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) plan that provides certain wellness and preventive care to full-time employees may face a penalty of $2,970 per full-time employee (minus the first 30).

Part B
A penalty of $4,460 per full-time employee who enrolls in a subsidized plan throughout a government exchange if the employer fails to offer an affordable Minimum Value Plan (MVP) which provides more comprehensive coverage, such as hospitalization.

Do you produce the 1094-C and 1095-C reports?

Yes, we maintain up-to-date data within our portal that quickly can produce a report needed for employers at the end of the year, proving they provided services throughout the year.

Do I need to make a contribution if I want part-time employee coverage?

No, since you are not mandated to make any offering to part-time employees, they have the ability to gain their coverage through state and federal insurance marketplaces. This also allows them to gain subsidies for their coverage.

Are your MEC and MVP plans only available in certain states?

No, our plans are available in all 50 states. The network provided is the Multi-plan network which covers all states.

Is there only one plan option?

No, the MEC plan and the minimum value plan both have 4 tiers of coverage. With increasing premium rates employees can reduce their out-of-pocket expenses by decreasing their co-pays.
